Martz Field on Conner and Mack used to have a real nice Minor League Baseball Field (just recently Renovated). I'm just not sure whether or not it's still a baseball field or a Soccer Field now. |

Mack Park was located at Mack and Fairview, a few blocks west of Conner. It burned down in 1929. http://detroit1701.psc.isr.umi ch.edu/Fairview%20Housing.html |

Actually, the correct name is Manz Field. Check out this list of Detroit ball fields, one of which is Manz: http://www.thinkdetroit.org/pr ograms/field_directions.asp I remember playing at many of these fields while playing on Detroit Parks & Rec teams or attending games to watch friends play. This photoessay shows a pic of the sign at Manz Field: http://www.phila-stars.org/pic s-16.html |

Bennett Park is a good place to toss the 'ol ball around. Or Navin Field is a good choice too. Both in Detroit. |

There are several well maintained ballfields at Maheras Park on the east side riverfront next to the Bayview Yacht Club (at the foot of Connor). If you want to reserve times, try calling Think Detroit. |
