Was going to head down to the Cityfest in a couple hours, but the weather's looking bad. Are the musical acts still scheduled to go on, rain or shine? |

Looking at the radar it seems like a pretty isolated storm, not likely to last long. |

Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 10 PM. There's more racing SE in Northern MI, however, the sun has really mixed an awful out of dry air to the surface, probably choking off some of the storms. The clouds over downtown are tops blown off from a storm affecting Metro Airport (severe by the way). In addition, since we're by te water, the Lake Shadow effect is also preventing convection over the city of Detroit. However, I'm sure after the storms they had three years ago that they have something planned. (Message edited by Urbanize on July 05, 2007) (Message edited by Urbanize on July 05, 2007) |
