Matthew Moneymaker (you couldn't make this up) has announced that an organized search for Bigfoot will take place in the U.P. Turns out that there is also a branch of animal science (?) known as cryptozoology, which is the study of "animals not proven to exist." (Nessie? Unicorns? Liberal Republicans?) Anyways, while not exactly a Detroit topic, it occurred to me that what with the sighting of coyotes etc downtown, maybe they should look for Bigfoot in some of the less populated neighborhoods of the D while they're at it, or maybe some of the urban ruins. Bigfoot in the Packard plant? Lurking in the train station? Eating popcorn at midnite in Tiger stadium? Why not? http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/06/ 27/bigfoot.ap/index.html |
