Where can I go to get certified in Word;Access; Power Point; Groupwise? I have for the most part taught myself word with some help here and there but need to get certified because there are city and state job opportunities for clerical workers.

Thanks....

It runs around a grand per class depending on which one you're aiming for. If you think you can take the certification tests without the class, each test runs around a hundred, or it did 5 years ago.

Try Julies list. Look under education and training. Loads of programs listed there and some classes are free or almost free.

Terry,

I'd grab a few certification books myself. For what you get out of most cert classes, it would end up being cheaper, and you also have a great resource to look up things in.

Every cert I have ever taken except for one I did this way. The class was not worth it for the money, especially for Office type programs.

Good luck!
